Information I receive
I may receive your name, email address, telephone number, song files, project notes, payment status and the content of messages you send by email, phone, WhatsApp or another agreed channel. Website hosting systems may also process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and request logs.
How the contact forms work
When you submit the contact form, the information you enter is sent securely to WantDrums.com through the website and delivered by Resend, the transactional email provider used for enquiries. Resend processes the submitted details only to deliver the message. Please avoid including information that is not needed for your music project.
Why information is used
Your information is used to respond to enquiries, quote and deliver recording services, manage revisions and payments, keep project records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with law and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. Consent is used where the law specifically requires it.
Service providers and embeds
Information may be handled by trusted providers used for email, secure payments, file transfer, website hosting and business administration. The Audio and Testimonials pages also include players from SoundCloud and YouTube. Those providers may receive technical information and use their own cookies or similar technologies when their content loads.
Links to WhatsApp, Google, Trustpilot and other external services take you to their platforms, where their own privacy terms apply.
Cookies and analytics
WantDrums.com does not currently use advertising cookies. Essential hosting technology may be used to deliver and protect the site, while embedded media providers may set cookies or collect usage data under their own policies. If additional analytics or marketing tools are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
Storage and security
Reasonable measures are used to protect personal information and limit access to what is needed. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Recording project files are normally kept for 30 days after delivery; invoices, payment records and essential correspondence may be retained longer where required for legal, tax or dispute purposes.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are relied on as required by applicable data-protection law.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on it. These rights can be limited by legal duties or the need to establish or defend claims.
