Terms of service
By using WantDrums.com Online Recording Service, you, the customer, agree to the following terms of service:
Rights and royalties – personal and commercial
In the event that my recordings are used for personal purposes, a standard work-for-hire agreement applies, meaning that the recordings are free of any royalties. I do ask that proper credit be given to 'Max Saidi' or 'WantDrums.com'.
In the event that any of my recordings are used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to public advertising or broadcast television, a separate agreement regarding the rights and royalties associated with such usage must be settled upon. Failure to reach a mutually agreed upon arrangement may result in copyright infringement. Please contact me for further information and to discuss the terms of commercial usage.
Modifications
I offer an unlimited revisions policy, meaning we can go back and forth until you're 100% happy. WantDrums.com holds the right to terminate a session at any stage without notice.
Turnaround time
I pride myself on quick turnaround times – usually 48 hours. However, during busy periods this is sometimes not achievable, and you will be notified if this is the case. It helps if you can get back to me with any changes/amendments as soon as you can. This is to ensure you get the best results from my service.
Paying for your drum tracks
If you are in the UK, you will be sent an invoice to make payment via BACs. If you are outside the UK, you will receive a secure payment link via email to make a payment. By paying for your drum and percussion tracks, you are consenting that you are happy with the work that has been done. Should you be unsatisfied for whatever reason and require additional amendments, you will be charged 50% of the original price quoted. Please see further down for information on refunds.
Optional extras
Optional extras include; a stereo mix and master, processed stems and a video recording of your session. The cost of these extras is £12.00, £8.00 and £15.00 respectively.
Unlimited revision policy and additional takes
I am happy to record as many takes as is required to ensure you get the perfect take at no extra cost. Please be advised that you will not be sent all takes. The final take that has been approved shall be the one you receive all files for. If you require some or all prior takes, this will cost £10.00 per take. This fee covers the additional time required to prepare and export each take.
If you have opted for any optional extras, these extras only apply to the final approved take. If you require, for example, a stereo mix and master of all takes, the standard fee for this optional extra shall be applied to all necessary takes you request to be sent.
Delivery of files
Your full-quality files will be sent via file sending service WeTransfer.com. You will receive an email to download your files securely onto your computer/device. It is then up to you to download these files within 14 days. After 14 days, your download link will expire, and you will need to request a new download link by emailing max@wantdrums.com.
Backing up your files
It is up to you to make sure you keep a secure backup of your files. Due to the high volume of recording work, WantDrums.com will only keep your project on file for 30 days. WantDrums.com holds no responsibility if you lose your files or fail to download them within the time frame stated in these terms.
Refund policy
My Guarantee states that payment is only made when you are 100% happy with your drum tracks. This, therefore, means that WantDrums.com does not offer refunds once payment has been made.
